Exploring Vietnam: Political Management Training In Sustainable Urban Development
April 30th - May 4th, 2025

Our founder, Andrian Dwi Kurniawan, has been selected to represent Indonesia in a regional fellowship program funded by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES). The program focuses on urban mobility and the critical role of political leadership in shaping sustainable, inclusive cities.
Bringing together a diverse cohort of politicians, entrepreneurs, civil society leaders, and sustainability advocates from 12 countries, the fellowship creates space for meaningful dialogue and collaboration across sectors and borders. For Senang Eco, it’s a chance to connect with peers who are not only imagining better futures, but actively working to build them.
This initiative goes beyond training, there we learnt about building a lasting network of changemakers committed to equitable, resilient urban transformation. Through this experience, Senang Eco represented by Andrian will engage in deep conversations on mobility justice, policymaking, and the shared challenges cities face in the climate era.
And the journey doesn’t end here. The fellowship continues with another round of in-depth training in November 2025, where participants will refine their leadership approaches and explore how systems thinking and politics intersect with the real-world practice of sustainability.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to FES Asia and the Center for Applied Buddhism (CAB) for making this powerful opportunity possible. It’s experiences like these that continue to shape Senang’s work at the intersection of sustainability, innovation, and social transformation.
